DUPLICATE - LPN or RN (Fulltime) 2nd Shift Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN or RN to join our team at Little Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a 106-bed skilled nursing and psychiatric facility in Chicago, Illinois. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met. Responsibilities: Demonstrate understanding and utilize nursing policies and procedures in the administration of resident care Direct day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures Provide exceptional care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and medication administration Participate in the facility's quality assurance program and assist in facility surveys Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents and staff Perform various nursing duties, including medication administration, wound care, and restorative and rehabilitative programs Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent 1 year of experience as an LPN or RN Current LPN or RN license in the State of Illinois Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care What We Offer: Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package (available upon request) Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Collaborative and supportive work environment Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance Note: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.
