• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Pay Rate: $60.00-$65.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday; no weekends or holidays. Orientation shifts: 0800-1630 (likely first two weeks). Optional call shifts available (not required): M-F 0430-2200, Sat-Sun 0600-2200, 60-minute response time.
• Travel Requirements: Local radius is 50 miles.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Nuclear Medicine Tech travel/contract position at an Acute Care Hospital (MAGNET!) with 426 staffed beds. The clinician will be expected to perform PET scans - prior experience is preferred, but the facility is willing to train on site. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required; first-time travelers may be screened if they have at least 2 years of experience. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET scans (prior experience preferred; on-site training available).
• Work a 5x8 Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays required.
• Float between like units (DSU) as needed.
• Participate in optional call shifts (M-F 0430-2200, Sat-Sun 0600-2200) with a 60-minute response time, if interested - call is NOT required.
• Complete orientation shifts scheduled 0800-1630 during the likely first two weeks.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
• Ability to perform PET scans (prior experience preferred; on-site training available).
• Flexibility to float between like units (DSU).
• 60-minute on-call response time capability (if opting into call shifts).
• Willingness to comply with RTO restrictions (RTO must be included at time of submission).
• Charting proficiency - facility uses Epic .

Education Requirements

• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS.
• Pending license not accepted - active licensure required at time of submission.

• Acute Care Hospital, MAGNET! facility.
• Total staffed beds: 426.
• Scrub color: Royal Blue (RNs); L&D/OR scrubs provided.
• Charting system: Epic.
• Parking: Free.
• Block schedule accommodated per manager discretion.
• Guaranteed hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period.
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required.
