We are seeking Patient, Compassionate, Responsible, Reliable and Dedicated (DSP's) individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals assisting and attempting to make a difference in the lives of Adults with Intellectual and Mental Challenges. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals living in their homes with a Person -Centered Mindset. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, ensuring resident safety and well-being, and promoting a positive living environment. Our Office is located in Marlton ,NJ , if hired you be required to come in for Orientation and any other trainings as required, other than that you will be working in the community at a location near you. Duties:
- Provide direct support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Engage in social and recreational activities to promote socialization
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Follow all resident rights policies and procedures to ensure their dignity, privacy, and independence
- Provide support and companionship Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
-Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent .
- Previous experience in direct support or caregiving is preferred
- Knowledge of resident rights regulations is a plus
- Ability to provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Must have a Valid Driving Record
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
-Must be authorized to leagally work in the United States.
