Regional CDL-A Position – High Unload Pay – Weekly 34-Hour Reset

Looking for a dedicated Midwest run where your hustle directly controls the size of your paycheck? This Chicago-based regional account pairs manageable weekly mileage with heavy extra pay, a steady sign-on bonus, and an active summer cash incentive so you can make every mile count.

Earning Highlights & Extra Cash

• Weekly Earnings: Average $1,500 to $1,700 gross per week (top runners pull in $2,000+).
• Annual Range: Clear $75,000 to $100,000 yearly earning potential.
• Heavy Unload Pay: Bank a flat $245 for every single trailer you unload.
• Accessorials: Get $70 per backhaul and $25 per stop on top of your experience-based mileage rate (averaging $1.80 all-in pay).
• $2,500 Sign-On Bonus: Paid out in steady installments across your first 6 months.
• Summer Retention Bonus: Earn an extra $337.50 per week during the summer incentive period (qualify by starting before July 27, 2026; payouts on July 3 and August 21).

Route, Equipment & Work Style

• Home Time: Guaranteed 34-hour home reset every week (weekend home time is not guaranteed).
• The Lanes: Dedicated regional deliveries covering Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, and Kentucky.
• Weekly Driving: Low mileage requirement, averaging 800 to 1,000 miles per week.
• The Work: 100% touch freight unloading trailers at delivery points.
• The Fleet: Late-model International and Freightliner tractors.
• Paid Onboarding: Includes a 2-day ride-along training session paid at $150/day.

Qualifications

• Active Class A CDL with at least 3 months of solo experience in the last 3 years.
• Physical capability to safely handle touch-freight unloads.
• Flexible schedule to handle shifting weekly dispatch days.
• Truck and trailer must remain parked at the Markham Terminal or Joliet DC during home time.
• Pack 2 weeks of supplies for orientation.
• Clean MVR and background check (strictly not SAP friendly).
