RN - CVICU Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years preferred License: State or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Travel experience Previous charge experience preferred Experience with Epic charting system required Description:We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.This position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients.The daily census is typically around 7.The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2.Nurses will be responsible for managing arterial lines and ventilated patients.Experience with ECMO and end-of-life care is preferred.The role requires knowledge in interpreting arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.Candidates should be skilled in central line care and monitoring.Successful applicants will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient support.Special procedures and additional unit equipment knowledge are beneficial for this role.Familiarity with managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction is essential.The ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips is required.Isolating precautions and infection control practices must be followed.Candidates with experience in trauma level facilities are preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
