Job Description:

Title: Labor & Delivery RN - Travel

Requirements:

- 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing

- Travel experience required

- Epic charting experience required

- Current Compact license

- Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate

- Preferred: ACLS

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery, including both low and high-risk cases.

- Attend and assist in all deliveries, including circulating for C-sections and GYN surgeries.

- Administer medications including magnesium sulfate, heparin, and insulin drips, as well as blood products.

- Utilize epidural pumps and PCA/syringe pumps, and perform sterile vaginal exams.

- Participate in the post-operative recovery of patients from C-sections and provide wound care.

- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and maintain accurate documentation.

Compliance / Notes:

- Must submit any requests for time off during the application process.

- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holiday shifts, including Thanksgiving and Christmas.
