Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center is expanding, and we are looking for a Veterinary Criticalist to join our Resuscitation & Critical Care (RACC) department in our hybrid ER/Specialty hospital in Middletown, CT. Locum opportunities are also available!

Owned and operated by veterinarians since 1937, our family of hospitals also includes four primary care hospitals and one urgent hospital in central Connecticut. Our network of doctors provides a one-of-a-kind community that supports each other and grows together.

At Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center, you will join a collaborative team of specialists in Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Avian/Exotics, and Oncology as well as a seasoned team of primary and emergency veterinarians. Our RACC department consists of two boarded criticalists, dedicated technicians and assistants, and department-specific client liaisons.

Our state-of-the-art facility includes multiple ultrasounds, wireless Fukuda Denshi telemetry, 64-slice CT, 1.5 T MRI, C-Arm with neurovascular platform, Maquet Servo-U ventilator with NAVA and volumetric capnography and minimally invasive surgical equipment. As an added bonus, we enjoy an Antech reference laboratory in the building with an on-site clinical pathologist.
