Working collaboratively alongside pathologists' assistants, pathology specialists, and laboratory technicians, you'll help examine, dissect, and process specimens from routine biopsies to complex oncology and transplant cases. You'll assist with gross examination, tissue sampling, frozen section procedures, and intraoperative consultations to deliver timely, accurate information that helps guide surgical decisions. To adhere to departmental specimen identification policies and quality controls. To utilize lab and hospital information systems and provide general administrative support to the laboratory staff in support of laboratory operations, such as filing, record maintenance, responding to client calls, and mail delivery.QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent required.
