Medical Assistant – OB/GYN Private Practice

For Her Health SC is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing, patient-centered OB/GYN practice. If you enjoy building relationships with patients, working in a collaborative team environment, and providing exceptional women's healthcare, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Medical Assistant, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care by supporting both our clinical and administrative teams. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, friendly, and committed to creating a positive experience for every patient.

Schedule & Benefits

• One convenient office location
• No weekends
• Office Hours:
• • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM
• Medical Assistants are assigned a consistent schedule, with flexibility to adjust or cover additional shifts when needed.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Collect and accurately document medical histories in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Administer vaccines and injections
• Perform phlebotomy
• Triage patient phone calls and communicate appropriately with providers
• Notify patients of test results and respond to patient messages
• Process prescription refill requests
• Prepare, clean, and stock exam rooms
• Assist with ordering and maintaining medical and office supplies
• Support providers with additional clinical and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification or relevant experience preferred
• Previous OB/GYN or women's health experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Proficiency with Epic EMR systems is preferred
• Reliable, professional, and committed to outstanding patient care
• Willingness to maintain flexibility in scheduling and assist the team as practice needs evolve
