• Current certification as a Radiation Therapist from an accredited program
• Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Radiation Therapy
• Valid state license to practice as a Radiation Therapist
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and treatment planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring comfort and clarity for patients
• Ability to adapt to new systems and processes, especially during client transitions

Schedule/Hours:

Responsibilities Include:

• Administering prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with physician instructions and established protocols
• Operating and maintaining linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment
• Collaborating with physicians, physicists, and dosimetrists to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of care
• Monitoring patient conditions, documenting treatment, and communicating any changes to the care team
• Educating patients and families about the radiation therapy process and answering any questions
• Assisting with quality assurance and safety reviews, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Supporting and participating in client transition processes as needed
