Qualifications & Credentials:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology is essential
• Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential (or California authorization for Language/Speech and Hearing Specialist)
• Demonstrated expertise in school-based speech-language pathology, with the SLP-CCC credential highly valued
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and CA state regulations for speech services in schools
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy in compliance with students’ IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, interpret results, and contribute to the eligibility process
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to ensure student growth
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including therapy logs and evaluation reports
• Provide consultation and support to school staff concerning communication disorders and intervention strategies
