- Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice matching, coding, posting, and payment processing.
- Process approximately 100-200 invoices weekly while maintaining accuracy across departments, grants, and locations.
- Perform banking activities including deposits, electronic file uploads, account monitoring, and positive pay administration.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding account discrepancies.
- Serve as the AP Specialist responsible for journal entries and supporting month-end close activities.
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure expenses are coded accurately in a highly manual accounting environment.
- 3+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.
- Experience processing invoices, coding expenses, and managing payment runs.
- Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations, deposits, and online banking activities.
- Experience preparing journal entries and supporting month-end close.
- Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workload with accuracy.
