Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) — Level IV Trauma Center

Employment Type: Full-Time (3 x 12-Hour Shifts)

Schedule: Work just 3 days a week with 4 days off to recharge!

Department Highlights & Flow

• Modern Layout: 30 private ER rooms (including a 6-room EDOU observation unit), 1 dedicated seclusion room, and 5 specialized monitored rooms.

• Fast-Track Efficiency: 6 fast-track beds supported by a dedicated PA to seamlessly handle minor and non-urgent issues.

• Manageable Ratios: Enjoy safe 1:3 or 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios so you can actually provide high-quality care.

• Strong Support System: Backed by 5 techs during peak hours to keep the department running like clockwork.

• Tech Stack: Streamlined workflows utilizing Allscripts - Sunrise (EMR) and Omnicell (Medication System).

What You’ll Do

• Provide rapid, expert assessment, triage, and critical interventions for a diverse mix of trauma, cardiac, neurological, and acute medical patients.

• Partner closely with physicians, mid-level providers, and techs in a high-energy environment to ensure rapid and safe patient flow.

• Administer medications with precision and document care seamlessly using our state-of-the-art EMR systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse (RN) experience required.

• Required Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

  • TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
