About the Role: We are seeking a full‑time experienced Designer to support our Design team. This position will assist in the interior design, construction and architecture process of multi‑family and/or ‘for‑sale’ residential properties. We are looking for a highly creative and enthusiastic designer that can establish priorities and work independently. This role will oversee projects from conceptual design through install. This includes design development, CAD drafting of a full set of construction documents, project team coordination, review of shop drawings and construction administration. Top candidates for this position will have a degree in Interior Design, minimum 3‑5 years ‘experience working in the Interior Design field and be proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills are required. Specific responsibilities include: Maintain oversight of all aspects of project design, pricing, purchasing and schedule Small and large design projects including but not limited to space planning, procurement, landscape, exterior enchantments, signage and marketing materials Sourcing and specifying finishes, furniture, fabric, window treatments and accessories Perform site visits to renovations under construction to inspect materials, and general compliance with construction documents and company standards Prepares and tracks projects budgets and processes invoices and cash flow projections Responsible for many projects at any given time. Meet and coordinate with vendors as needed to maximize revenue opportunities and source new materials Coordinate and manage contractors and various trades Prepares Photoshop renderings of exterior elevations and landscape enhancements Provide design, clerical and administrative support to the design team and Director of Sales & Marketing Manage design library and project binders Communicates project status between multiple departments including the Design Team, Renovation Team, Asset Managers, and Regional Construction Managers Requirements: Minimum of 3‑5 years’ experience in interior design, Multifamily, Hospitality or Architecture fields Highly creative and forward thinking Computer proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite and Photoshop. Rendering experience is preferred but not required. Some travel may be required, including overnight trips.
