Schedule: 12-hour shifts as needed Top Reasons why a Nursing position with Pyramid Healthcare – Mountaineer Inpatient is unique Our nurses do not have to assist with ADLs: all clients are independent for bathing, feeding, grooming, personal hygiene, etc. No catheters No I/Vs/Ports/Midlines Our nurses are not responsible for blood draws (we contract with a national lab that performs them) There are minimal physical requirements for our nursing positions: no heavy lifting, no long periods of standing/walking, etc. No paper MAR’s – we use an active eMAR system Essential Duties and Responsibilities Properly communicate and guide LPNs in client care responsibilities and assignments Complete initial nursing assessment with new admissions Medication administration and education to clients Knowledge and delivery of withdrawal management protocols (COWS and CIWA scales) Coordinate and support medical providers with initial assessments and medication management appointments Other duties as assigned Licensure, Education, & Experience Current RN license in West Virginia Current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certification Pyramid CORE Values We are committed and proud to live our CORE values and use them to inspire those around us.
