Director of Nursing
A long term care facility in the worcester area is seeking a Director of Nursing Services (DNS) to join the team!
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee our nursing department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care, nursing home. If you are a compassionate leader with excellent supervisory skills and a passion for providing high-quality patient care, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff
- Oversee nursing operations and ensure compliance with all regulations and standards
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Proven experience in nursing administration and leadership roles
- Knowledge of shift management and scheduling practices
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and nursing best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
