Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Orthopedic

Location: Lawrenceburg, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:30. Weekend hours required every other week or as needed. Call requirements as needed.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical Orthopedic unit to deliver exceptional patient care. The role will involve managing patient care, providing support to patients and their families, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to orthopedic patients, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the healthcare team
• Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
• Maintain compliance with nursing practices, protocols, and state regulations

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the state of Tennessee
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with a focus on orthopedic patient care
