System One is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Freeport, TX for a contract opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Support the recruiting team by proactively sourcing talent, building relationships, and expediting the onboarding process.
• Partner with Talent Acquisitions Recruiters to develop strategies supporting current and upcoming staffing needs.
• Develop detailed job descriptions, screening questions, and tool lists specific to positions based on scope of work.
• Source candidates from multiple internal and external pools.
• Screen candidates to ensure qualification for positions to be filled.
• Maintain candidate pools by departments and geographic regions.
• Recruit and assist hiring managers with offers of employment to qualified candidates in a fast-paced environment.
• Schedule individuals for processing and orientation.
• Update Applicant Tracking System in real time with candidate information and interactions.
• Attend job fairs and other industry events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Level I Specialist will typically be responsible for craft worker sourcing.
• Level II Specialist will typically be responsible for professional/indirect/office administration sourcing.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of customer service or HR administrative experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and flexible, able to deal with changing priorities.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under time constraints.
• Strong computer skills and demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of employment laws and compliance (preferred).
• Experience in administration, customer service, human resources, industrial construction, and/or nuclear industries (preferred).
