Job Title: Materials Handler
Location: Pomona, CA 91766
Pay Rate: 18.50/HR
Shift: (1st Shift) 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Materials Handler to support warehouse operations including inbound and outbound material handling, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform material handling activities including inbound, outbound, put-away, and inventory tasks
- Unload incoming trailers and move materials to designated staging areas
- Sort, count, separate, and organize materials by SKU
- Pick, pack, palletize, wrap, weigh, and prepare products for shipment
- Operate forklifts and other powered/manual material handling equipment safely
- Use SAP to complete shipping, receiving, transfer, and inventory transactions
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and proper stock organization
- Identify and dispose of scrap or defective materials appropriately
- Generate scrap tickets for replacement orders when necessary
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
- Support additional warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of forklift experience
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse systems
- Ability to use basic measuring and mechanical tools
- Strong basic math skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, squat, stoop, crawl, and climb as needed
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements
Work Environment:
Indoor warehouse setting
Exposure to warehouse noise and moving equipment
Required use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, and safety shoes
Additional Information:
Unionized work environment
Eligible for conversion to full-time employment after 90 days
Pay increases every 6 months after direct hire conversion
