# Job Opportunity – RN Infection Preventionist – Georgia

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Georgia

Schedule: Full-time position with routine facility rounds and departmental oversight

Highlights:

• Serve as a key member of the quality and infection prevention team within a comprehensive healthcare system
• Conduct hospital-wide surveillance to identify and track healthcare-related infections and support public reporting compliance
• Collaborate on system-level policy and procedure development to strengthen infection prevention standards
• Provide education and training to clinical staff and patients on best practices in infection control
• Perform regular audits and physical rounds across all facility departments including oversight of construction, renovation, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization processes
• Matrix reporting structure supporting both facility leadership and system-level infection prevention leadership

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or compact state eligibility
• Previous infection prevention or quality experience preferred
• Strong understanding of infection control principles, surveillance methods, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication and education skills for multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Ability to conduct audits, analyze data, and implement evidence-based practices
