CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves both scrub and circulating responsibilities within the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), with potential assignments in other specialties as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesScrub and circulate during cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring a sterile environment.Assist in orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgeries, performing independently.Participate in mandatory overtime and on-call rotations as scheduled.Collaborate with surgical team members to optimize patient care and outcomes.Qualifications4-5 years of experience in an Operating Room setting, with required circulating experience.Strong capabilities in scrubbing and circulating for various surgical procedures.Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with required documentation upon submission.Ability to work variable and rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.Additional RequirementsActive Connecticut RN license must be obtained within 24 hours of locking the position.COVID-19 vaccination is required, with options for medical and religious declinations.Flu vaccination is also required, with options for medical and religious declinations.Work EnvironmentThe CVOR RN will be considered part of the unit's staff and will participate in the rotation pool for additional hours as needed to ensure coverage.If you meet the qualifications and are ready to take on this dynamic role, we encourage you to apply!
