Details Float Pool position within a 495-bed Level II Trauma Center Acute care patient population with an average ratio of 1:7 Must be willing and able to float to other units as needed Night shift schedule, 3x12's, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM Every other weekend and holiday rotation required No on-call requirements EPIC EMR experience required Requirements Active RN license - VA State License or Compact required Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only) Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start Minimum 2 years of Tele/Med Surg experience required Cardiac experience required Previous travel experience required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US SSN required for consideration; Canadian SIN not accepted Additional Information Provide nursing care across float pool units within a Med Surg/Telemetry specialty Facility has earned an 'A' grade in Patient Safety for 10 consecutive years Scrub color required: Navy Blue, per facility dress code policy Up to 3 days of preapproved time off allowed, excluding holidays May request one holiday off, with a maximum of two days considered for holiday RTO Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted No block scheduling accommodated for this assignment American Traveler Job ID P-757404.
