About the Role Essity is looking for an experienced Territory Sales Specialist – Wound Care to manage and grow the Advanced Wound Care product portfolio within an assigned geographic territory. The role focuses on the greater San Francisco Bay area and involves traveling as required. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Specialist is the primary driver of sales, targeting multiple call points across the continuum of care with a primary focus on Acute Care, Surgical Areas, and Wound Care Centers. What You Will Do Meet or exceed sales targets driven by key account closures and competitive conversions. Effectively communicate and utilize clinical and product knowledge. Assess customer needs and develop solutions. Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders within targeted accounts. Interact with advanced practice clinicians (surgeons, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, WOCNs, and nurses) to influence product choices. Execute the sales process. Implement contracts and penetrate key GPO and IDN awards. Maintain and increase penetration in existing accounts and systems. Coordinate opportunities internally and externally with customers. Plan territory and accounts, including pre‑ and post‑call planning. Complete all administrative duties accurately and timely. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree required. At least 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the healthcare industry; exposure to wound care and surgical markets a plus. Experience in business‑to‑business sales helpful. Self‑motivated, independent, competitive, tenacious, high integrity, fearless, strategic, passionate, and a team player. Willingness to travel overnight, work weekends, and evenings (approximately 25‑35 % of time). Fluency in Microsoft programs (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Experience with CRM recommended (Salesforce, Dynamics).
