  • Fulfil collaborative practice duties and scope oversight responsibilities applicable to advanced practice providers and medical assistants, where assigned.
  • Seek guidance from and provide clinical reports to the Medical Director, Deputy Medical Director, Regional Clinical Directors, or other senior leadership as appropriate.
  • Support performance improvement, quality assurance, grievance review, case review, and care management activities.
  • Review medical cases and records for appropriateness of care and provide recommendations for care management.
  • Serve as a clinical expert and provide technical assistance, consultation, and clinical education to clinic staff and clinical professionals.
  • Participate in general staff and medical staff meetings and complete discipline-specific testing, required training, health screening, and prevention activities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of clinical medicine, evidence-based standards of care, tuberculosis clinical practice guidance, and applicable policies, procedures, directives, operational memoranda, and accreditation standards.
  • Work effectively in a multicultural, multilingual, multidisciplinary care environment and use interpreter services when needed to communicate with patients.
  • Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing, and maintain productivity in an electronic work environment.
  • Use clinical equipment, materials, and supplies associated with primary care diagnostic and treatment procedures.
