Locum Family Practice Physician

Consensus Health Primary Care Med-Care is looking for a locum family practice physician. Practice setting: private practice. Reason for coverage: provider on leave. Dates of coverage: ASAP-Jan 25th. Average number of patients per day: 20-30. Number of physicians in practice: 2. Will the locum be responsible for supervising other health care providers? No. Services available on-site: laboratory, radiology. Documentation system/EMR: AthenaHealth. Practice population: adult, geriatric. Required general procedures: EKG interpretation. Required surgical procedures: I & D (incision & drainage), suturing of minor lacerations. Required occupational medicine procedures: employment physicals, diagnosis and management of common industrial-related medical problems, disability exams.

Submission requirements: Board certifiedinternal medicine/family medicinerequired. Local providersonly mileage will be reimbursedrequired. NJ license in handrequired. Internal credentialing must be completed with the submitting agencyrequired. Clean backgroundhighly preferred. BLSrequired. Athena experiencehighly preferred. Worked outpatient in NJ recentlyhighly preferred.
