Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2203.20/week - Job Summary: Seeking experienced travel Registered Nurses for OR (Operating Room) assignments at a busy surgical unit. The role involves providing specialized perioperative patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment, focusing on surgical procedures and patient safety. Responsibilities: Coordinate and perform preoperative assessments to prepare patients for surgery. Assist surgical team during various procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes during procedures. Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols. Document all patient care activities accurately in the EMR system. Communicate effectively with staff and providers to ensure seamless patient care. Qualifications: Valid RN license with active registration. Minimum of 1-year current acute care OR RN hospital experience in an operating room setting. BLS and ACLS certification required. Experience working with DaVinci Robotics or specialty procedures preferred. Knowledge of Meditech EMR system highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
