Exciting Hematologist/Oncologist Position in Phoenix!

Hayden Medical Center located in Phoenix, Arizona. Join a well-established program dedicated to treating Veterans with both malignant and benign hematologic conditions, as well as solid tumors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialized consultations for both inpatient and outpatient care.
- Participate in committees and engage in quality assurance initiatives.
- Assist the facility in achieving established performance metrics.
- Utilize your extensive training and experience to diagnose, stage, and treat hematologic disorders.
- Supervise and teach medical students and residents, contributing to their education.
- Meet the qualifications for an academic appointment at the University of Arizona School of Medicine - Phoenix.
Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with minimal on-call duties.

To qualify for the CME leave, candidates must be board-certified. The EDRP is available for this position, allowing for student loan reimbursement, provided that the application is submitted within four months of starting. Approval and award amounts are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office.
