Tax Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced CPA Tax Supervisor with strong public accounting experience who enjoys tax preparation, client service, and leading accounting staff. The ideal candidate will be able to prepare and review complex tax returns while supervising and training Staff Accountants.

Location: Conway, Arkansas Work Arrangement: On-site; this is not a remote position. Salary: $90,000-$110,000 annually

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare business and individual tax returns.
• Prepare and review complex returns involving multiple entities, multi-state clients, nonprofits, and trusts.
• Review tax returns prepared by Staff Accountants.
• Lead, direct, and train Staff Accountants.
• Prioritize work and complete engagements accurately and timely.
• Assist with office management as needed.
• Stay current with tax laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain strong client relationships and effective communication with coworkers.
• Represent the organization professionally at networking and professional events.
• Assist with bookkeeping as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, client service, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required; Arkansas license preferred.
• 5+ years of recent public accounting experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a CPA.
• Strong tax preparation and review experience.
• Experience with complex business and individual tax returns.
• Professional, positive, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
