Job Summary

The Vendor Coordinator / Supply Chain Support role is responsible for managing a large volume of material that frequently requires repair through approved vendors. This position also conducts receiving inspections on incoming material and performs inventory counting and forecasting for the engine shop production schedule. This role is part of a cross-functional team supporting inventory management, vendor repair orders, and purchasing.

Responsibilities
- Review a lengthy bill of materials to accurately forecast parts needed for engine builds.
- Follow written maintenance instructions while documenting measurements, clearances, and steps performed.
- Engage with strategic sourcing teams to identify new repairs and potential vendors.
- Conduct receiving inspections on incoming material.
- Inspect engine parts using precision measuring equipment and calculate clearances.
- Make daily and weekly phone calls to vendors to get updates on deliveries.
- Support purchase order updates and changes as required.
- Support the shipping team with coordination of deliveries.
- Provide accurate reports that track incoming vendor repair items and new material.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Turboshaft engine or industrial turbine engine/parts exposure highly desired.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience applying mechanical principles in the repair, maintenance, and installation of mechanical equipment.
- Experience using precision measurement tools.
- Proficient in the English language.
- Ability to understand technical maintenance data and document steps performed.
- Proactive problem solver.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be able to meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements

Working Conditions
- 40-hour work week; hours may fluctuate depending on workload.
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled environment.
- Potential exposure to chemicals, coolants, fire hazards, dust, fumes, and high noise levels.

Physical Requirements

- Must be amenable to work on-site.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to reach, bend, push, lift, and climb continuously.
