Safety Specialist - Shreveport, LA

The Safety Specialist evaluates and enforces safety protocols followed on various job sites. The employee will ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards (including OSHA, ANSI, VOSH, etc.). Candidates with ISA, CTSP, and Pesticide License Cat 6 are preferred. Visit job sites weekly to conduct safety audits on personnel, equipment, and material. Research and implement new materials handling processes and safety training. Analyze accident reports and evaluate injuries. Prepare and conduct safety training sessions for employees and vendors. Review injury and incident inquiries and evaluations. Education And Experience Experience in construct and/or tree industry. 6+ years’ experience in the Line Clearance Tree Trimming industry. Additional Eligibility Qualifications ISA Certification CTSP Certification preferred. Pesticide License Cat 6. Certification in all Company training modules. Position requires employee to be able to pass a background check and drug screen as required for this job. Work Authorization Requirements Must meet I-9 requirements.
