Role Description The Loan Officer at GMCC in Bellevue, WA is a full‑time, on‑site role responsible for originating residential mortgage loans and guiding clients through the entire lending process. Day‑to‑day tasks include assessing borrower needs, explaining loan programs and requirements, collecting and reviewing financial documentation, and submitting complete loan files for underwriting. The Loan Officer will collaborate with underwriting, processing, and funding teams to ensure timely approvals and closings, while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. The role also involves building and managing a pipeline of prospective clients through networking, referrals, and follow‑up, and providing consistent, high‑quality customer service from initial inquiry to post‑closing support. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in loan origination and experience working as Loan Officers in the residential mortgage industry. Candidates should possess finance‑related skills, including understanding of mortgage products, interest rates, and lending regulations. Candidates should possess underwriting‑related skills, such as evaluating creditworthiness, reviewing documentation, and working with underwriting guidelines.
