Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week | Day Shift with 2 Evenings Until 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback through staff meetings, focus groups, or direct supervisor channels to maximize outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy
• Ability to work a flexible 40-hour schedule including 2 evening shifts until 7:00 PM
• Strong documentation skills with knowledge of compliance standards for state, federal, and insurance requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
• Familiarity with functional quality indicators and letters of medical necessity
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development through continuing education and involvement in professional organizations
