Housekeeping & Laundry Aide (Day/PM Shift)

Allure of Mendota is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our  Housekeeping & Laundry Team . In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff while supporting daily housekeeping and laundry operations.

Schedule

• Day/PM Shift

• Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping and cleaning schedules

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility equipment

• Sweep, mop, dust, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed

• Clean fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, and other surfaces

• Collect and dispose of trash properly

• Coordinate housekeeping duties with nursing staff when working in resident areas

• Follow safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment

• Mix cleaning solutions and disinfectants according to instructions

• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly

• Maintain resident confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and supplies

• Team-oriented with a positive and respectful attitude

• Willingness to work with residents compassionately and professionally

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move throughout the facility during the workday

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 pounds

• Ability to handle the physical and emotional demands of the position
