Psychiatry - Physician

T he Allegheny Health Network’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health has grown and is seeking motivated psychiatrists who want to be at the forefront of psychiatric care. AHN is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to provide Adult, Inpatient psychiatry services on our behavioral health unit at Beaver Hospital. Provide much needed care to the community by joining a vertically-integrated fiscal and clinical delivery system that is revolutionizing behavioral health service models, providing evidence-based treatments, and measurement-based care.

Highlights:

1. Comprehensive treatment team including advanced practice providers, registered nurses, social workers, case managers, and mental health technicians
2. Emphasis on collaboration between disciplines in the hospital and across the system
3. Weekly grand rounds with free CME offerings
4. Opportunities to train and supervise

Duties:

1. Provide care to patients on a 32-bed unit
2. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
3. Develop individualized treatment plans
4. Provide medication management

Qualifications:

1. 1-2 years experience
2. Completion of ACGME approved psychiatry residency program
3. Board eligible or board certified in psychiatry
4. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
5. Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
