Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Schedule: Days

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Current Washington State RN licensure.
• HCP (Healthcare Provider) Level of BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire AHA or equivalent.
• Experience as an acute care registered nurse preferred.
• Minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments.
• ACLS (AHA Advanced Life Support) certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire and renewed every 2 years.
• PALS (AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or PEARS (AHA Pediatric Advanced Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization) certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire and renewed every 2 years.
• Demonstrated competency in ability to care for patients across the age continuum.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and collect data focused on the physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status of patients.
• Implement patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and consistent manner.
• Identify patient and significant other learning needs and develop appropriate teaching strategies.
• Document patient care accurately in compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Delegate patient care activities effectively while supervising assigned coworkers.
• Maintain professional growth and development through seminars and workshops.
