From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to the medicines you rely on, Eurofins laboratories work with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic, and labelling is accurate.Eurofins is dedicated to delivering testing services that contribute to the health and safety of society and the planet, and to its corporate responsibility to protect the environment and ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion across the entire network of Eurofins companies.Job DescriptionThe Talent Learning and Development Director will be responsible for designing, delivering, and measuring best-in-class leadership development and learning solutions across Eurofins Environment Testing (USA).This role is primarily focused on building organizational leadership capability by implementing existing programs and workshops while also creating new, scalable learning initiatives aligned with business needs.Training initiatives will cover a broad range of topics and will be developed and delivered through multiple formats, including instructor-led training (onsite and virtual), self-paced e-learning, and blended learning experiences to maximize engagement and effectiveness.The position will be offered as a hybrid opportunity with the expectation of 2-3 days reporting onsite at the Lancaster site.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:This is a hands-on leadership role and the candidate will need to develop and deliver courses to a wide audience comprising leaders of every levelDevelop relationships with our senior leadership to understand the needs of the business from a training and development perspectiveWork with leaders and cross functionally with the HR team to conduct annual Talent Reviews and succession planning activitiesDevelop and deliver and live, instructor-led training on both hard and soft skills in both virtual and classroom settingsCoordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and/or co-facilitate training modulesDevelop online, self-paced courses on both hard and soft skills using e-Learning authoring software and video toolsSupport High Potential program and succession planning initiativesSupport EET leaders with the development of customized learning to meet the needs within their scope (may be unique to the environment testing industry)Develop course material, including creating and editing videos, PowerPoint, workbooks and handoutsManage selected SharePoint pages and/or sitesCoaching and Mentor coordination as neededDemonstrates and promotes the company visionDemonstrated knowledge of authoring software to include E-Learning course-building software, video editing software, animation software, learning management systems, etc.Ability to Travel for hands on training is required, approximately 4-6 trips annuallyQualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Organizational Development or in a related field (or unrelated degree with a strong background in leadership training at the corporate level); MS/MA preferredExperience:Proficient in Camtasia or similar video capture/editing softwareLMS experience as an admin or super user2+ Years of previous leadership experience.5+ Years of experience in corporate training5+ years experience in content development that includes both ILT and e-learning courses3+ years experience developing courses using E-Learning software to build courses designed to be hosted on an LMSExposure to talent development initiatives a plus (e.g., succession planning, talent management, employee engagement, employee development)DiSC certification a bonus, but not requiredMembership in the Association of Talent Development (ATD) or other similar organizations is a plusPreferred Candidate Experience:Ability to proactively assess organizational needs from a talent development perspective and design (or lead the development of) programs that address current and future business prioritiesEffectively communicate and champion learning and development initiatives across all levels of the organization, including building networks beyond the immediate business lineDemonstrate expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design, with the ability to partner with and extract insights from subject matter expertsExceptional facilitation skills, with experience delivering both virtual and in-person training using a variety of engaging instructional techniquesStrong proficiency in learning technologies, including e-learning authoring tools and video editing softwareAbility to manage logistics and operations of training programs, including budget oversight, scheduling, enrollment coordination, and setup of classroom and virtual learning environmentsAdditional InformationPosition is Full Time, 2-3 days onsite Hybrid at the Lancaster, PA site.As a Eurofins employee, you will become part of a company that has received national recognition as a great place to work.
