Brief Description Registered Nurse | Hospice Inpatient | 3rd shift | Part-time or Full-time. Faith Hospice has a rare opportunity for a Registered Nurse to serve patients at the end of life and to work as an essential part of an inpatient hospice care team. Our Trillium Woods Inpatient Hospice facility in Byron Center is seeking a compassionate RN to join our care team. Why Join Faith Hospice? At Faith Hospice, we utilize highly skilled nurses, medical social workers, chaplains, home health aides, and volunteers to serve our patients—from medical and emotional care to pain management and bereavement counseling. Responsibilities Assesses patient conditions and comfort, communicating changes to physicians, family, and caregivers Implements and revises individualized care plans, managing discomfort and providing symptom relief Administers medication, performs treatments, and coordinates with the Interdisciplinary Group for care planning Delivers specialized hospice training to staff, family, and caregivers for optimal patient care Educates patients and families on disease processes and provides emotional support Maintains communication with physicians and other disciplines Builds trusting relationships and completes required documentation promptly Schedule 3rd shift | 10:30 pm – 7:00 am Schedule repeats every 2 weeks; can be full‑time or part‑time Eligible for pick‑up pay if you choose to pick up extra shifts extra $4 / hr if you pick up on a weekday extra $6 / hr if you pick up on a weekend extra $8 / hr if you pick up on a holiday Skills To Be Successful Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability Self‑directed and autonomous Strong prioritization skills Organized Comfort with navigating various technologies and computer applications Collaborative team player mindset Education And Experience RN licensure in Michigan At least 2 years of med/surg, acute care, or skilled nursing experience Hospice and/or hospital experience preferred Passion for hospice nursing Faith Hospice has a partnership with Christian Living Services and Holland Home.
