Neuroendovascular Neurosurgeon
Location:Los Angeles, CA
Setting:Private Group Practice – Affiliated with a Comprehensive Stroke Center
Compensation:$800,000 – $1,400,000 annually (dependent on experience and productivity)
Schedule:3 weeks of work per month, with 1 week of vacation each month
About the OpportunityWe are a well-established and collaborative private neurosurgical group located in Los Angeles, actively seeking a fellowship-trained Neuroendovascular Neurosurgeon to become part of our vibrant, multidisciplinary team. Our organization specializes in providing state-of-the-art care for complex cerebrovascular, neuroendovascular, and stroke patients at a Comprehensive Stroke Center , all within a supportive practice environment.
As a new member of our team, you will collaborate with:
- A dual-trained Neuroendovascular / Skull Base Neurosurgeon
- An Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon
- A Neuroendovascular Neurologist
We work together across various specialties to ensure outstanding patient outcomes while promoting professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct advanced neuroendovascular procedures , including thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, AVM/AVF embolization, and other cerebrovascular interventions.
- Participate in neurosurgery and acute stroke call coverage for the Comprehensive Stroke Center.
- Perform open cranial surgeries, general neurosurgery, and general spine procedures while on call.
- Engage in ongoing research, clinical trials, and academic activities as desired.
- Provide both inpatient and outpatient consultations, follow-up care, and patient education.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions and quality improvement initiatives.
- MD or DO degree with completion of an ACGME-accredited neurosurgery residency .
- Fellowship training in neuroendovascular surgery from a CAST-certified program .
- Board-certified or board-eligible in neurosurgery.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in California.
- A strong commitment to excellence in patient care, teamwork, and ongoing professional growth.
