Job Description

As an Accounting Manager, you support all aspects of financial responsibility for Go Local Interactive. You analyze, interpret, and communicate the financial data and reports impacting our daily business. You manage general ledger, account reconciliations and prepare Ad Hoc financial requests and financial reports. You cultivate and maintain relationships with our vendors and clients as you are responsible for billing, collections, and payables. You will assist in supporting system improvements within NetSuite and also with internal and external audits.

Job Expectations

• Responsible for client billing, collections, and payables.
• Assist Controller manage and process payroll entries.
• Manage general ledger and account reconciliations.
• Interpret, translate, and communicate the billing and financial impacts each client contract has on the company.
• Manage and cultivate relationships internally and externally with product teams and current, past, and future clients.
• Serve as the departmental lead for NetSuite.
• Supervising Accounting department staff when available.
• Approving Accounts Payable, employee expenses, etc. 
• Managing your department employees’ performance with annual reviews, or more often as needed.
• Collections and Accounts Receivable processing on a regular basis.
• Additional process improvement, software enhancements, accounting projects as assigned by your supervisor.
• Prepare Ad Hoc financial requests.
• Act as the administrator for Expensify, providing support, training and troubleshooting for users.

• Must demonstrate ability to be held and hold others accountable to best practices and legal compliance.
• Must demonstrate the ability to research and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
• Must demonstrate excellent people management skills.
• Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Must demonstrate exemplary written and verbal communication skills.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• 5-7 years in related accounting or finance experience
