Registered Nurse - Clinical Education

Monday to Friday - Days

Assignment Details

Holiday coverage may be required.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nursing license in Alaska required at the time of submittal.
• Proof of flu vaccine required.
• 3 years of professional clinical instructor experience.
• 5 years of professional nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years as a staff RN in a specialty area (ER, ICU, OB, OR).
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC instructor certification preferred.
• Two years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an ongoing clinical education program to meet regulatory requirements.
• Design, teach, and evaluate training programs for clinical staff.
• Support internal and external customers through effective education initiatives.
• Oversee the trauma registrar program and ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Collaborate with site and department managers to identify clinical education needs.
• Conduct evaluations of educational activities to enhance professional development.

Compliance / Notes

Fulfilling the responsibilities may require coordination with various healthcare provider training and education programs.
