Grover St, Shelby NC 28150 241 licensed beds Level 3 Trauma Center Not a Teaching Hospital Certified Chest Pain Center Stroke Center Unit Information Beds: 32 Minimum Experience Required: 18 months PCU RN experience First-time travelers accepted Patient Types and Common Diagnoses Patients may include those not requiring mechanical ventilation, such as CHF, dysrhythmia, chest pain workup, stroke, abdominal illnesses and infections, respiratory illness, diabetes, AKI/CKD, alcohol withdrawal, IV drug abuse, and others. Patient Ratios RN to patient ratio is typically 1:4; may increase to 1:5 depending on patient acuity. Required Licensure and Certifications BLS ACLS

Floating to all facilities within the region may be necessary; candidates not agreeable to floating should decline. Region includes Cleveland Kings Mountain Lincoln Central Division (including main and affiliated facilities) Floating compensation If floating mid-shift, travel time between facilities will be compensated and remain on the clock.
