About the role Le Flâneur , the signature French brasserie at Recess Hotel & Club , is seeking energetic, hospitality-driven Server Assistants to join our team. Inspired by the timeless charm of a French brasserie, Le Flâneur offers a vibrant dining experience rooted in genuine hospitality, exceptional food and beverage, and meaningful guest connections. As a Server Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the dining room team and ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience. The ideal candidate is attentive, organized, and eager to contribute to a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. What you'll do Support servers in delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout service Assist with food delivery and table maintenance according to restaurant standards Pre‑bus and reset tables promptly and efficiently Refill water, bread service, and other guest amenities as directed Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room, service stations, and guest areas Stock service stations with necessary supplies before, during, and after service Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, bartenders, and culinary team members Help maintain a polished and welcoming dining environment Anticipate guest and team needs and respond proactively Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service standards Support special events, private dining experiences, and high‑volume service periods as needed Qualifications Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred Positive attitude and passion for hospitality Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain organized and efficient in a fast‑paced environment Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Ability to safely carry trays, dishes, glassware, and other service items Professional presentation and grooming standards Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require Commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences through thoughtful, attentive service Why Recess?
