Warehouse Inventory Specialist

• Perform inventory movements, including location-to-location transfers and inventory adjustments.
• Support cycle count activities to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, conveyors, and hand trucks to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report any material control or inventory discrepancies.
• Assist Inventory Control and warehouse leads in investigating quality concerns, shipping complaints, and stock variances.
• Complete material transfers accurately and within required timelines.
• Transport, stage, and organize materials while ensuring proper warehouse documentation is maintained.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancement projects.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and perform other assigned duties as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1-2 years of forklift operating experience.
• Experience with inventory management and material handling processes.
• Familiarity with machine operation and visual inspection procedures.
• Ability to use RF scanners and pallet jacks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience picking and pulling orders in a warehouse environment.
• Experience working in distribution, logistics, or inventory control operations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Capable of pushing and pulling loads weighing between 200 lbs and 800 lbs repetitively.
• Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, and kneeling.
• Ability to work in confined or tight spaces when required.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to handle materials safely throughout the shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
