About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3+ years recent experience required; seasoned travelers only License: Valid Compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: Required certifications applicable to specialty Must-Have: Must know labor and delivery, triage, and postpartum Description: Reduced Non-Billable Orientation. Travel experience required in Labor and Delivery/Postpartum. Position may float between units based on needs. On-call is required once per pay period, maximum per diem. Weekends will typically be required every other weekend. Expected patient ratios are 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, and 1:6. Unit requires LDRP skills. No 48-hour shifts approved. Facility type is critical access. Total staff beds are 22. Scrub color is any color; scrubs are provided. Charting system used is Epic. Providers will be expected to float between nearby sister facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment or loss of guaranteed hours. Providers will be supplied with communication devices needed to perform duties at no cost. Travelers are expected to commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays. References required covering the last 3 years. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may lead to termination of the contract.
