Full Cycle Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Gilbert, AZ Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pay: $26/hr - $32/hr
Position Overview: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support full cycle AP in a high-volume, multi-location environment. This role is ideal for someone who can stay organized under pressure, maintain accuracy, and manage priorities effectively while meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, coding, and approvals
- Handle high-volume payables across multiple locations
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of invoices into the system
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and proper documentation
- Assist with vendor communication and resolve discrepancies
- Support month-end close as needed
- Maintain organized records and documentation for audit purposes
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of accounts payable experience preferred
- Experience working in high-volume, multi-location AP environments
- Working knowledge of accounting principles, including debits and credits
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
