Broadcast Associate, 60 Minutes

Position Overview We are seeking a Broadcast Associate for 60 Minutes to provide administrative, digital, and editorial assistance to the show’s Executive Producer. The ideal candidate is smart, enterprising, highly organized, able to multi‑task, and has strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities Handle all administrative duties, including answering phones, maintaining schedules, monitoring emails, booking travel, and preparing expense reports Coordinate meetings and story screenings for senior staff and production teams Assist with digital needs and components for the show’s programming Maintain the show’s story‑pitch database and help organize story line‑ups Support senior staff and production teams with digital and research needs Prepare for shoots by assembling research binders, printing questions, and anticipating production needs Qualifications Background in journalism and experience in a newsroom Experience working in digital journalism Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with absolute discretion Ability to balance priorities, multiple projects, and tasks, and act with urgency Exemplary written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Team player with a positive outlook Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and late nights with little notice Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport preferred Work Schedule & Location Monday – Friday, with ability to work nights and weekends as needed On‑site role located at 555 W 57th St, New York City Compensation Hiring salary range: $51,500.00 – $65,000.00. The range is based on location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
