Route Delivery Driver

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Route Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to our customers on a designated route. Responsibilities Report to work regularly and timely per daily work schedule. Perform DOT required pre-trip on assigned delivery vehicle. Safely drive and operate a 26” box truck. Unload freight using a hand truck or pallet jack and deliver customer orders in a safe and efficient manner. Use hand‑held device for routing, customer delivery information, and signature capture. Provide invoices, collect money, and record transactions when making deliveries. Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Lift packages up to 60 lbs. on a consistent basis and deliver to customer’s location using a delivery route manifest. Perform DOT required post‑trip at end of day. Reconcile orders and communicate appropriately and clearly to the transportation manager before leaving for the day. Basic Requirements Valid Louisiana Class A or B Driver’s License DOT Certified Medical Card Clear MVR Perform pre and post trips per DOT. Reliable transportation to and from work At least three years of driving experience in a straight box truck or larger Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. when making deliveries. Must be able to sit for up to three hours at a time when driving to first stop on some out‑of‑town routes. Must be able to reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, walk and occasionally climb when unloading trucks and making deliveries. Must be able to repeatedly lift, push, pull or carry product. At least 23 years of age Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test Meet delivery timelines. Exceptional Customer Service Skills Eligible to work in the U.S. Compensation & Benefits $18.00 to $19.00 per hour to start depending on experience. Paid weekly. Five paid holidays.
