Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Briarcliff Manor, NY

We operate a residential treatment program in Briarcliff Manor, NY, specifically designed for adolescents dealing with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction.

At our facility, we guide adolescents and their families on the journey to complete recovery. We equip each young person with the tools to face life's challenges without the burden of an eating disorder. Our approach emphasizes empathy, education, and collaboration with families, ensuring they are integral partners in the recovery journey. We strive to help each adolescent develop healthy coping mechanisms and a profound understanding of how to live authentically.

We are currently looking for a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to become a part of our dedicated team.

Compensation: LPN: $26-$35 per hour; RN: $35-$45 per hour

Work Schedule: 7 AM - 7 PM & 7 PM - 7 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting and documenting vital signs as necessary.
• Observing and reporting any unusual behaviors in clients.
• Administering medications as prescribed.
• Ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Demonstrating normalized eating habits by completing meals during work hours.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Experience in residential or inpatient behavioral health and mental health settings is advantageous.
• Previous experience working with individuals overcoming eating disorders is a plus.
• Must possess active CPR/BLS certification prior to employment (training can be arranged if necessary).
