Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Location: Rochester, NY Salary: $120K-$140K base + bonus (salary depends on experience) Position Overview The Audit Senior will play a critical role in leading audit engagements and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position is designed for a motivated individual with a strong background in public accounting and audit processes, who will provide high-quality service to our clients while mentoring junior staff. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, including risk assessment and internal control evaluation. Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and oversight on audit assignments. Prepare detailed audit reports and manage client communications to ensure satisfaction and address issues proactively. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other applicable standards during audits. Assist in the development of audit plans and timelines, ensuring timely delivery of services. Conduct thorough examinations of financial statements and accounting records to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy. Qualifications Recent Public Accounting experience with Auditing required CPA Required Minimum of 3 +years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit services. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
