The Bank Tech Operations leader should have experience in developing executive-ready presentations and telling a compelling story through data.Typical Responsibilities:Oversee enterprise tech backlog intake and distribution processes for Bank Tech engineering organization.Own overall program oversight for Tech Transformation and Enterprise Tech backlog including executive reporting, escalations and operating rhythms.Build and maintain effective, scalable processes that streamline technical operational routines without adding unnecessary friction.Align technical routines with overarching strategy to ensure every meeting and process is driving toward core goals.Provide strategic support for critical operational shifts, ensuring the organization remains resilient and aligned during transitions.Act as a primary advisor to senior tech leaders, providing initial framing for high-stakes proposals and translating vision into actionable plans.Work hand-in-hand with Product partners to develop a deep understanding of their business priorities and objectives. Help Tech leadership connect technology solutions and priorities directly to those business outcomes.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeAt least 9 years of process, project, or program management experienceAt least 7 years of people management experiencePreferred Qualifications:Masters in Business Administration10+ years of process, project, or program management experience3+ years of operations experience8+ years of people management experience2+ years of learning & development experiencePMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certificationCapital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.McLean, VA: $206,000 - $235,100 for Director, Project ManagementNew York, NY: $224,800 - $256,500 for Director, Project ManagementRichmond, VA: $187,300 - $213,700 for Director, Project ManagementWilmington, DE: $187,300 - $213,700 for Director, Project ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
